Departure at about 6.30 a.m. from Palermo. During the journey of two and a half hours through the heart of Sicily you can admire the stunning scenery of Madonies, Erei's mountains and the breathtaking location of Enna, the highest provincial capital of Italy located at 1000m above sea level
Mount Etna, with its 3340m / 12,000 feet above sea level, is the highest active volcano and the largest in Europe.
Climb from the south side up to the Sapienza refuge at 1926m / 5.906 feet.
From there a leisurely stroll through the spectacular lunar landscape of craters Silvestri formed in 1892.
Lunch at the panoramic restaurant with limited drinks included (optional).

After lunch, which reached the town of Taormina, located on a plateau on Mount Tauro, dominating the Ionian coast.
A pleasant walk will allow us to visit the beautiful Greek theater, the Palazzo Corvaja (seat of the first Sicilian parliament in 1411) and then continuing along the Corso Umberto reach the lovely Belvedere, between the church of S. Joseph, S. Augustine and the ancient port of the clock, through which we reach the Cathedral of St. Nicola thirteenth century. and the Baroque fountain in front of it.
