Departure around 14:00 from your hotel in Palermo. Climb to Monte Pellegrino, Palermo's most famous mountain, to arrive at the shrine of Santa Rosalia, the patron saint of the city, built over the grotto where, according to legend, the saint lived and died. Since we will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Conca d'Oro, which will allow us to understand why Goethe called Monte Pellegrino "the most beautiful promontory in the world." Then step off the other side of the mountain to reach Mondello, a small fishing village became a seaside resort famous for its white sand beach, the beach Charleston early '900 and the famous iced lemon.
